Week 25 San Gabriel

HAPPY MONDAYYY

We had a wonderful week, the success in the area just exploded haha. We are working like animals with the members and gaining a lot of trust with them. Elder Whitlock is a stud and wants to work with the members a lot so we visit members everyday to help them out. I'm probably going to be in this area for a long time haha. My companion goes home next transfer so I might leave this tranfer, or more likely in three or more haha.

It was way good to Skype you guys too, I have come a long way with Spanish, with the help of the Lord haha. Venezuelans are awesome!! You are privileged dad to have had the opportunity to work with such nice people. We try to talk to Venezuelans as much as possible because they are really receptive. We had one the other day that pulled over in his truck to come talk to us. He lives in a different area but was definitely interested. One Venezuelan I knew in Ayacucho gave me a gift! I don't know if I have sent you a picture of it yet but I'll send it, his name is Bradly. He's a great man. It probably was Elder Gutierrez. I can't remember if he went home this transfer or last. Almost positive it was him. Hmm Paraguay? I met someone from the office my first few days that went home this transfer, maybe it was him? I can't remember his name either.

My companion has 4 brothers and a little sister, he is the middle child too ha ha.. ha. Haha, he has been a member all his life. We speak English in the room, but when we plan, study, or proselyte it's in Spanish. And sometimes having two American people gets you indoors, but I found it's a lot harder to get their trust. I've had a few investigators that think they will walk into our chuch, and everyone will be white but them. I'm like "c'mon we are in Peru" haha.

And mom, keep taking some stuff off dad's shoulders, being a bishop is hard, I know now haha. Our bishop is always in the church. It was good to hear from all of you guys! Thank you for thinking of me! I love you all!!!
