Elder Ashton Olsen: Week 69 Chorrillos

Fall Has Fallen!!

We went to the temple here in Lima this week for P day!! We went super early Saturday morning so that 1. we could get a session without waiting an eternity and 2. so that the Elders in the office could come. It all went well! It was super cool to be in the temple again after so much time without being in the south haha. To dad: the whole stake division isn't all the hard, we don't have to cover the areas just the stake leaderships, we just have to do a bunch of visits. The attendance is rising. And the zone is doing super good, we just need to help them to achieve their goals. Any tips papà?

Cèsar got baptized on Saturday. It was actually a spiritually fortifying experience to see his progress and conversion. He transformed into a positive happy person! He can't wait to get an assignment to serve in the church with a calling. He has also expressed interest in becoming a full time missionary! I'm excited to see his progress as he continues to learn. Someone in his family is a member and has done a bunch of his family history. He is excited to take some names to the temple.

Other than that we kind of lost Sol and Henry, they don't really wanna get married so we will just have to leave them to the side and just work on getting them a real testimony of the restoration. We kinda lost Luz and Adriana, we are going to see if we can focus on them this week. Beatriz is still going strong! She is getting her last paper ready for her marriage!! We are super excited!! Apart from her we have Frank. He is still progressing, he came to a young men's activity and is getting super fellow shipped. We have in another side we have a small family that are starting to progress and come to church. Their names are Mirtha, Rosa, Lenis, and Juliana. They are a non member family. The girls are in the care of a member family so basically they are already members participating in the church activities and in the family traditions of scripture study, prayer, and FHE. They will progress super well.
